About Us

Kristen Brown is the owner and head of operations at Floral Soul Studio. Starting the business in 2017 she has been deeply passionate about being an entrepreneur,  event designer, & serving her clients from day one. In January of 2024 she and her husband Jeff purchased Pink Petunia Weddings, a florist who has been in business since 1937. 

Kristen uses her 18+ years of experience to create unique & whimsical designs for each client. She is inspired by nature, and loves to design with an abundant amount of blooms. Which is how she got the reputation for being a maximalist. She sees flowers as an opportunity to create fantasy in the real world, that could always use a little bit more wonder.

At home she and her husband have a small family of furry children and they foster kittens on a regular basis. Whenever they can get away you'll find them with family in Florida. Floating in the pool with some Jimmy Buffet playing and margaritas on ice.
